Happy New Year!

I hope all my friends will have a wonderful 2010! I am glad 2009 is over and have great hopes for the coming year.

We just had a scientifical experiment....we made King Crab legs for dinner tonight...talk about ritzy! We are going to have white chicken chili tomorrow...not the black eyed peas as in tradition but close enough.

We have several movies to watch tonight and I am planning to finish binding my tree skirt. Didn't make it on time for this year but I am ready for next!

I hope all my friends had a lovely Christmas and that 2010 is the best year ever. 2009 has been interesting, frustrating and rewarding in strange ways...I am grateful that I remained employed and that my family is healthy and relatively happy.

Santa's work

I am going to start making some personalized pillow cases for the daughters of a woman I work with. THEN I need to finish my Tree Skirt for the new baby Christmas Tree! I will post pictures later.

Holidayish...

Well...we picked up a new table top Christmas Tree yesterday. I wanted to downsize and found someone that would use my old (25 years) 7 foot tree...so we have a new little one. I like it. Katherine and I put it up this morning. Now if we can just keep Evil Puss from eating the feathers we have adorning the little tree. We also have two peacocks. I will take a picture when the decorating is done. I have to start wrapping presents. Get those out of the way.
